Important metallic meteorite, siderite octaedrite IIIAB, discovered at the end of the 1960s, fragment of the Saint Aubin (Aube) fall which struck the earth's surface 55 000 years ago. Weight : 81 Kg H_34 cm - W_48 cm - D_28 cm (about) (base, stabilized block, patinated, no chlorine in its internal structure, analysis reports) SYNTHESIS OF THE ANALYSIS REPORT (Laboratory EMTT of the Group 6NAPSE) The expertise carried out shows that the sample cut from a metallic fragment of 81 kg corresponds to a metallic meteorite. The structure and chemical composition of this meteorite is in adequacy with the meteorite known as Saint-Aubin discovered in the 1960s in France, in the department of Aube. This meteorite is an octahedral iron meteorite with beautiful Widmanstätten figures rather thin but evolving towards a structure with ferro-nickel alloy lamellae of medium width. It belongs since the end of the 2000s to the large IIIAB family (chemical classification). It has the particularity to have a rather high nickel content evolving towards 11%. (all the results can be communicated on request) REPORT ON CHLORINE Total chlorine (ic) after mineralization by calorimetric bomb - DIN EN 14582 (2016-12) - Realized by WESSLING Lyon : - Total chlorine on gross : Gew% 0,07 - Total chlorine on dry : Gew% 0,08Importan
