Crystal bonbonnière cut with twisted gadroons and engraved with foliate scrolls. Set in yellow gold 750‰ with chased lambrequin decoration underlined by 96 small round rose-cut diamonds and 32 half-pearls. Lid mounted with a miniature on ivory (Elephantidae spp*) featuring a female portrait in the 18th-century taste (trace of signature on the right). The inside of the lid is decorated with mother-of-pearl (Pinctada margaritifera**).
