DU POTET, Baron (Du Potet de Sennevoy, Jules) Magic Revealed or Principles of Occult Science Saint-Germain, chez l'auteur, Imprimerie Eugène Heutte et Cie, 1875, in-4, contemporary half-brown cloth, IV, VIII, 284 pp. 2 leaves of out-of-text illustrations on tinted paper at the end of the volume, including 12 figures. Framed text, a few small pastedown figures, some hand-drawn by the author, 7 on white paper and 4 on tinted paper. Second edition, printed in a very small number of copies, of this extremely rare work, conforming to the original 1852 edition. Caillet 3405. Dorbon 1387: "Very rare edition, especially when it contains, in addition to the printed figures, 12 of which are printed separately on 2 sheets of bistre-tinted paper, those that the author drew by hand for his disciples...". Guaita 1332: "This work has not been put on the market. M. le Baron Du Potet reserved it for his Initiates, to whom he sold it at the price of one hundred francs per copy and in exchange for a written oath not to communicate it to anyone and not to reveal the secrets contained therein."
