Helyopolis, 1787, no publisher's mark, in-18, modern red half-basin, ribbed spine, IV, 176 pp. Fine engraved bookplate (C. Garnier) pasted on the spine. This may be the original edition not mentioned by Fesch and Caillet, who, at the same date, offer copies with a different collation: the edition described has only 164 pages and "Helyopolis" is spelled differently. Ours appears in a collection proposed by Dorbon 2027, who indicates that the text follows the same developments as "L'histoire critique des mystères de l'Antiquité", Guillemain de Saint-Victor having proposed this study to two separate publishers.
